It’s Love

Falling in love feels like the big drop on your favorite rollercoaster. Your stomach flutters, your cheeks hurt from grinning with excitement, you can feel the rush in every inch of your body. Love is walking into your favorite store and getting the last pair of shoes in your size. Love is putting on a brand new, crisp white tee with your favorite pair of jeans and feeling invincible. It is the comfort you feel when climbing into freshly washed sheets right after a long, hot shower. That one song that you can’t help but scream-sing to in the car until you lose your voice. That Hail Mary being throw down the field, making the world stop in its tracks just before your team wins the game. It is hearing good news on your worst day and feeling the joy radiate through your body. It is the sun poking through the clouds on a rainy day. The sunset that turns the entire world the perfect combination of pink and orange.

When it’s love, you feel it in your soul. In your bones. When you feel as though you’re living in a dream, hoping you won’t wake up anytime soon, it’s love. When your eyes widen and glisten at the sound of their voice, it’s love. When you find yourself rambling on and on, trying to find the perfect words to describe how you feel before realizing no words will ever do it justice, it’s love.
